AgelessRx Named XPRIZE Healthspan Milestone 2 Awardee and Awarded $1 Million to Advance Healthy Aging Clinical Trial
AgelessRx, a longevity-focused telehealth platform advancing evidence-based interventions and real-world clinical research, today announced that it has been selected as one of 10 Milestone 2 awardees in the $101 million XPRIZE Healthspan competition, selected to receive a $1 million Milestone 2 Award.
AgelessRx and its Stanford PhD-led Research Team were chosen from over 600 global pre-registered teams. These teams are working to transform how people age. XPRIZE Healthspan is a 7-year global competition incentivizing teams to develop and test therapeutics. These therapeutics aim to restore muscle, cognition, and immune function. The goal is to extend healthy life in adults aged 50–90 by a minimum of 10 years. The competition has an ambitious goal of extending healthy life by 20 years within one year or less of treatment.
“Aging does not happen through one pathway, so the future of longevity cannot rely on one intervention,” said Stefanie Morgan, PhD, Vice President of Research and Applied Science at AgelessRx. “Becoming an XPRIZE Healthspan finalist brings us closer to the future AgelessRx was built to create, where rigorous longevity research does not stay in the lab, but becomes evidence-led care people can actually access.”
Inside AgelessRx’s 90-Day Pilot Study
AgelessRx earned its place in the final phase after completing a 90-day randomized, placebo-controlled pilot study. The study evaluated combinations of known gerotherapeutics alongside structured lifestyle support.
The study enrolled 26 adults aged 60–80 at risk for age-related functional decline. The final analysis included 18 participants. Participants joined a placebo group or one of two active intervention groups. The groups evaluated combinations of Low Dose Naltrexone, Metformin, NAD+, Vitamin B12, Low Dose Rapamycin, Glutathione, and AgelessRx’s Infinite supplement. Participants also followed exercise and guided meditation programs.
“For most of history, we’ve accepted aging as something that just happens to us,” said Anar Isman, CEO and Co-Founder of AgelessRx. “Becoming an XPRIZE Healthspan finalist is a chance to prove that aging is something we can measure, target, and reverse—and put that power in the hands of everyday people, not just the lucky few.”
What Comes Next in the XPRIZE Final Stage
For the final phase, AgelessRx plans to conduct a fully powered, one-year randomized controlled trial. The trial will involve approximately 186 adults aged 50–90. Participants will join either an intervention or placebo group.
A coordinated research infrastructure will support the final trials between 2026 and 2029. The University of Utah Data Coordinating Center will oversee trial and data management. The University of California San Diego Stein Institute for Research on Aging will coordinate shared laboratories, biomarkers, and biological-sample storage. XPRIZE expects to award a grand prize of up to $81 million in 2030.
The global longevity economy is projected to reach $8 trillion by 2030, driving increased demand for solutions that allow people to live healthier, longer. Age-related diseases account for over 55% of global healthcare spending. This highlights the need for scalable, evidence-based interventions that target the root causes of aging. AgelessRx’s selection underscores the potential to bring high-impact, clinically guided longevity care at scale. It also reflects the opportunity within a rapidly growing global market.
Advancing Accessible, Science-Backed Longevity Care
By combining clinical precision, digital access, and a mission to democratize science-backed longevity care, AgelessRx is proud to stand at the forefront of the healthspan revolution. As demand grows for established, preventive solutions, this XPRIZE milestone reinforces AgelessRx’s role in delivering therapies that allow users to proactively take control of their health journeys.
