Frequently asked questions
B12/MIC provides the same great vitamin supplementation as B12 injections, but with a few added benefits. When combined with MIC, the metabolism-boosting principles of the injection are amplified, enhancing the body’s ability to break through weight loss stagnation.

Every body is different. Depending on your weight loss goals, lifestyle choices, and any underlying medical conditions, the results you see on the scale may vary. B12/MIC should be used in combination with diet and exercise to maximize results.
B12/MIC Injections are self-injected according to your provider-guided titration schedule. If prescribed, a US-licensed provider will provide a tailored dosage schedule and specific treatment instructions with your care plan.
Important safety information and common side effects
Most side effects of B12/MIC are generally mild in nature and dissipate within a short time frame following administration.
The most common B12/MIC side effect is pain, redness, or itching at the injection site. If irritation continues to occur, apply an over-the-counter itch cream, preferably with hydrocortisone, or discontinue use entirely.
In more rare yet severe cases, you may experience:
- Itching or a feeling of swelling all over the body
- Muscle cramps and weakness
- Upset stomach and urinary problems
- Swelling in the ankles or feet
- Unusual tiredness
- Irregular heartbeat or trouble breathing
If these side effects occur, consult your healthcare provider before continuing B12/MIC.

Frequently asked questions
Most side effects of B12/MIC are generally mild in nature and dissipate within a short time frame following administration. Common side effects may include pain, redness, or itching at the injection site.
If irritation continues to occur, apply an over-the-counter itch cream, or talk to your AgelessRx provider if symptoms persist for several weeks or become intolerable.
All B12/MIC Injections are only available as intramuscular injections.
Subcutaneous injections deliver medication into the layer of tissue just below the skin, while intramuscular injections go one layer deeper, directly into the muscle.
Subcutaneous B12/MIC Injections may be associated with an increased risk for irritations and reactions at the injection site. As such, our pharmacy partners only provide standard intramuscular injections.
B12/MIC Injections are administered intramuscularly into the muscle tissue. Recommended injection sites include the outer thigh or the deltoid muscle of the upper arm. Rotating injection sites between doses may help reduce irritation at any single location.
B12/MIC Injections should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct light. Refrigeration is recommended but not required. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
