What is PT-141 Nasal Spray?

  • Sexual health has two sides: the physical response of increased blood flow and the psychological response of libido3.
  • PT-141 may support both through its effects on central signaling pathways involved in desire, pleasure, and sexual response1 2
  • Unlike blood flow medications for ED, PT-141 may support the upstream signaling pathways that initiate libido and arousal3
  • Nasal delivery offers a rapid, needle-free approach for as-needed support of sexual performance and satisfaction1 3
  • In one study, response was observed as early as 30 minutes after dosing, faster than other sexual performance medications1

The Science of PT-141

Clinically studied and centrally acting: Central neuropeptide signaling declines with age, adversely affecting libido, desire, and overall brain health.10 11 PT-141 binds to melanocortin-4 receptors in the brain, enhancing dopamine release and amplifying sexual motivation, arousal, and pleasure.3

Supports central signaling and vitality: Sexual desire and arousal begin in the brain before they become a physical response.6 PT-141 Nasal Spray directly targets the brain’s control center for desire and arousal, making it broadly effective across sexes.1 2 Emerging research suggests it may support brain signaling pathways that reduce stress, inflammation, and broader markers of health, connecting sexual function with longevity.8 12

FAQs

What is PT-141 Nasal Spray?

PT-141 (Bremelanotide) is a melanocortin receptor agonist peptide that works through the central nervous system to support sexual desire, arousal, and satisfaction.2  PT-141 Nasal Spray provides brain-targeted, rapid-acting support for signaling pathways involved in initiating desire, arousal, and sexual response rather than affecting blood flow alone.1 2 13

How does PT-141 Nasal Spray work?

PT-141 Nasal Spray may activate melanocortin receptors in the brain associated with sexual motivation and arousal signaling.3 This may help enhance sexual interest, responsiveness, and satisfaction in both men and women.1 2

What benefits can I expect from PT-141 Nasal Spray?

Individual results vary, and benefits are not guaranteed. Some users may experience increased sexual desire and libido, improved arousal response, enhanced sexual satisfaction, and improved overall mood and motivation.2 9
