Frequently asked questions

01 What is longevity? What’s the difference between anti-aging and longevity medicine?

Anti-aging usually centers on cosmetic, surface-level fixes. Longevity medicine looks at the biological pathways that drive how the body ages at the cellular level—energy production, cellular cleanup, inflammation, structural repair, and daily rhythm—working to support those pathways before symptoms show up, so energy, resilience, and everyday function hold up better over time.17

Longevity means living as long and as healthily as possible, also known as healthspan. It means spending more time with the people you love, doing the things you love, and staving off age-related disease and frailty to the very last sliver of our lives.

Together with leading longevity scientists and expert medical providers, we’re dedicated to bringing the latest in longevity science directly to your doorstep, so you can make longevity your reality.

02 What is the difference between healthspan and lifespan?

Where lifespan is the length of time we live, healthspan is the length of time we live in good health. That means free of disease, frailty, and other age-related conditions that limit our quality of life. Think of healthspan vs. lifespan as quality vs. quantity. When it comes to longevity, it’s not enough to have long years if they’re spent in poor health, and not enough to live healthily if we don’t live long. The goal of longevity is both.

03 What is biological age and how can I check it?

Biological age is a measure of the body’s cellular health that reflects how fast we’re truly aging. While chronological age simply measures the length of time since our birth, biological age considers the lifestyle, environmental, and genetic factors that cause our skin, organs, cells, and DNA to age. In this way, biological age is a more accurate representation of how we’re aging than chronological age.18

To check your biological age, try our free biological age test. You’ll need the results of a recent blood test, which you can input into the calculator to easily assess your biological age from the comfort of your home.

04 Can I combine more than one longevity treatment at a time?

Many people build a plan that layers more than one treatment option, such as pairing NAD+ Injections with Low Dose Naltrexone or Metformin, since each works on a different biological pathway. Combining treatments works best when it’s sequenced and monitored rather than started all at once, which is why your AgelessRx provider reviews your health history and current medications before adding anything new, then adjusts your plan as your body responds.

Microdosing GLP-1s or Metformin may support appetite, blood sugar, and metabolism.1 2 NAD+ or Glutathione may support energy and antioxidant defense, helping cells keep up with repair.3 4 Low Dose Naltrexone may help those navigating inflammation, fatigue, chronic pain, or brain fog.5 Tadalafil may support whole-body circulation, while Rapamycin may offer a more advanced approach to cellular cleanup and aging, and Infinite Longevity Support provides a simple daily foundation across several of these pathways at once.6 7 8

05 Why does AgelessRx offer so many treatments for longevity instead of just one?

Because there isn’t one factor that drives aging on its own—energy production, cellular cleanup, inflammation, and structural repair all interact, and where your biology actually needs support first is individual. A single molecule addressing one pathway rarely moves the needle on all of them. That’s the case for a personalized, network-level approach rather than a single flagship product, and it’s also why your provider looks at your specific profile before recommending where to start.
