FAQs

How does the ordering process work for Zepbound®?

AgelessRx offers a prescription consultation for Zepbound® Single-Use Vials.

To get started, submit your medical intake to an AgelessRx prescriber, who will review your unique medical history and health goals to determine if Zepbound® is right for you. If approved, your AgelessRx prescriber will refer your prescription to Lilly Direct.

From there, you will receive text messages from Lilly Direct, who will prompt you to verify your identity and complete payment. Make sure to add injection supplies to check out, if prompted. Once payment is received, Lilly Direct will ship your prescription directly to your doorstep.

If approved, your AgelessRx prescriber will write you a new prescription each month according to the doctor-guided titration schedule that they will provide you. For most patients, you will stop increasing your dose after 4 months, unless you request to stay at your current dose.

You can pause your subscription at any time, but if you pause for more than 14 days after your previous prescription has ended, Lilly Direct may charge you a higher price.

How does Lilly Direct work?

AgelessRx provides a prescription consultation and monthly ongoing monitoring for Zepbound®. If your AgelessRx prescriber approves your prescription request, they will send your prescription to Lilly Direct. Lilly Direct will text you directly to verify your personal information through a third-party platform called GiftHealth. Please note that your prescription will not be shipped until you complete payment with Lilly Direct.

Once completed, you’ll be prompted to pay for your prescription. Most patients pay $349 to start, but your price may vary depending on the dose you’re prescribed. Make sure that you’ve selected to receive injection supplies for an additional $5 before you complete your check out. If you pause or delay your refills more than 14 days, Lilly Direct may charge you a higher price.

How quickly can I lose weight with Zepbound®?

For the best results, Zepbound® should be taken regularly for at least 6-12 months with a reduced-calorie meal plan and regular exercise. Clinical trials show an average of 15-20% weight loss within 72 weeks, or about 17 months, with many participants showing up to 8% weight loss within 12 weeks. However, this can vary depending on your health history, exercise level, and diet.

How much does Zepbound® cost?

The price of Zepbound® will vary depending on your prescribed dose.

  • $349 for 2.5mg
  • $499 for 5mg, 7.5mg, and 10mg

Important: Zepbound® vials are only available up to 10mg. If you’re currently on 12.5mg or 15mg, this option may not be available.

Please note: AgelessRx only facilitates your consultation. Zepbound® pricing and fulfillment are handled separately by LillyDirect, and prescriptions are always provided at the discretion of your prescriber.

Important safety information and common side effects

Zepbound® should be used with a reduced-calorie meal plan and increased physical activity.

Zepbound® contains Tirzepatide and should not be used with other GLP-1 or GIP receptor agonist medications, or any other products containing Tirzepatide.

Most common side effects

Zepbound® may have the following side effects: nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, abdominal (stomach) pain, headache, fatigue, dyspepsia (indigestion), dizziness, abdominal distension, eructation (belching), hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) in patients with type 2 diabetes, flatulence (gas buildup), gastroenteritis (an intestinal infection), and gastroesophageal reflux disease (a type of digestive disorder).

Common side effects normally go away on their own within a few days, or up to 2-3 weeks. If you find that any side effects persist for longer than this or get worse over time, stop taking Zepbound® and contact your prescriber as soon as possible.

Other important safety information

Eligibility and approval for Zepbound® is always at the discretion of your prescriber based on an assessment of your complete health profile. Approval is not guaranteed.

Do not use Zepbound® if you are allergic to Tirzepatide.

Do not use Zepbound® if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant or breastfeed.

Zepbound® should not be used by anyone who has a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC), multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome 2 (MEN2), or pancreatitis.

Tirzepatide may make oral contraceptives less effective. If you’re taking an oral contraceptive, ask your prescriber about potential alternatives before starting Tirzepatide, or switch to a non-oral contraceptive.

The FDA is currently evaluating whether GLP-1 medications like Zepbound® may increase the risk of suicidal thoughts or actions. Though the FDA has found no evidence supporting this risk, patients with a history of suicidal thoughts may be recommended an alternative weight loss therapy.

Tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements. Zepbound® may affect the way some medicines work, and some medicines may affect the way Zepbound® works.

Note: This product alone is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Please consult a medical professional to determine whether or not GIP and/or GLP-1 products are appropriate for you.
