NAD+ Patch Product Guide

NAD+ Patches are battery powered and use the electrophoresis method to facilitate the absorption of NAD+ into the bloodstream. As soon as you receive your shipment, please immediately refrigerate your NAD+ solution to maintain its potency. Follow the instructions below prior to your first use.

Step 1: Choose your patch location

Determine a comfortable location for your patch prior to your first use. The patch can be placed on your:

  • Upper Arm (most common)
  • Abdomen
  • Back
  • Thigh

Ideally, place the patch where hair will not interfere with the adhesive. If necessary, you may consider clipping hairs (but don’t shave the target area) to help avoid interference.

Step 2: Apply the patch

When you are ready to apply your patch, hold the whole patch in your open hand and press the edges to the desired location. Do NOT press the center of the pad.

Wear one (1) patch for a total of four (4) hours once per week.

If you do not notice any benefits after using one (1) patch per week for a couple of weeks, you may increase to two (2) or three (3) patches per week. Contact AgelessRx if you require any assistance in determining the number of patches per week that is right for you.

FAQs

My NAD+ patch isn’t completely dry after 4 hours. Did I do it wrong?

Not necessarily. It does not need to be completely dry for it work. Follow these simple steps to ensure a consistent and effective delivery:

  • Be precise in loading your patch (put exactly 20 drops of solution + 20 drops of saline)
  • Do NOT perform strenuous activity while your patch is on; sweat may interfere with delivery
  • Make sure the patch is applied quickly after loading with solution to a hairless body part
I don’t feel anything after I apply the NAD+ patch. Is it still doing its job?

As NAD levels get depleted with age and other stress factors, you may need to build up your NAD levels first before you notice anything. For this reason, our doctors recommend starting out by wearing one (1) patch per week for four (4) hours. If you do not feel any benefits after a couple of weeks, increase to two (2) to three (3) patches per week for four (4) hours. You will wear the patches at the same time for four (4) hours.

Most NAD+ patch users report one or more of the following: energy boost, better mood, faster recovery (from illness or workout), lower anxiety levels, better sleep and mind clarity. However, not everyone has the same experience. It doesn’t mean the patch isn’t doing its job. Visit our FAQs for more information.

Are there side effects to using NAD+ patches?

The most commonly reported side effect is irritation to the patch area on the body. If this happens, consider changing the placement of the patch on the body (i.e. alternating arm each week). If irritation still occurs, you may apply an over-the-counter itch cream, preferably with hydrocortisone as an active ingredient. In severe rash cases, AgelessRx doctors can also phone in a prescription for steroid cream to your local pharmacy.

Supplemental information

Since extra niacinamide needs to be methylated in order to be excreted, there is a theoretical need for extra methyl donors when using NAD+. Our doctors recommend using trimethylglycine (TMG also known as betaine), 500 to 1000mg, daily or at least on the days when the NAD+ patch is used. TMG is easily obtainable on Amazon or any vitamin retailer.
