One of the best features of the Libre Freestyle Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) system is the ability to share your CGM readings with your doctor, healthcare provider, or even your AgelessRx team. Whether you’ve used a CGM before or you’re considering ordering your first CGM, you should take advantage of this unique feature to get the most from your insights.
You might be asking yourself, how do I share my CGM data? Don’t worry, it’s much easier than you would expect. The process is entirely digital and can be easily managed from your LibreLink app on your phone or their online portal. We’ll cover the basics below so you can spend less time managing your data, and more time enjoying your extra healthy years.
What is a CGM?
A CGM, or Continuous Glucose Monitoring system, is a simple way to track your blood glucose levels for diabetics and non-diabetics alike. CGMs are attached to your body, usually at the back of your arm, for a 14-day period. During that time, the CGM provides glucose readings to your phone app every minute.
Why would you want to track your glucose if you’re not diabetic? CGMs allow you to track the effects of your diet, exercise, and longevity regimen on your glucose levels so you can see which options have the most impact.
Many like to use a CGM during the first weeks of starting a new medication, like Metformin, as a simple way to see how their levels have changed since starting. This also gives you the opportunity to share those same insights with your AgelessRx medical team.
Why should I share my CGM data with AgelessRx?
The best tool for tracking your glucose also happens to be one of the most convenient ways for doctors and medical experts to track your glucose levels.
While you’re wearing your CGM, you may be invited to share your CGM data with AgelessRx. Our Applied Science team is regularly conducting trials to test the efficacy of longevity medications, especially when using more than one, to contribute to ongoing research in the longevity field. Many of these medications have limited research efforts around them, so each piece of new data is vital to pushing research forward.
Previously, we conducted trials that asked participants to share their CGM data as they utilized other AgelessRx products, such as NAD+, Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN), and others. Sharing your CGM data, along with personal experiences, provides insight on any improvements with lifestyle and diet changes. We are hoping to conduct many future studies with CGM data to share with the public, so your contribution will greatly benefit this progress.
Through the free LibreLink App, there are features to understand your personalized glucose levels and patterns. For example, there are color-coded labels for measuring your glucose to determine whether it is considered high, between target range(s), or low.
As you scan your CGM sensor, an arrow will indicate your recent glucose trends. Users can create detailed reports (with glucose charts, averages, etc.) that can be shared with providers.
How do I share my CGM data?

- The first would be to receive an emailed invitation from the AgelessRx Research Team.
- The second option would be a few voluntary steps from your end. We’ve outlined the quick and easy steps below.
- First, log in at https://www.libreview.com/ with your credentials used for LibreLink App on your smartphone.
- Once logged in, select “Account Settings” (a) from the menu in the upper right-hand corner.
