Tadalafil (As Needed) Product Guide

Tadalafil is used to treat erectile dysfunction in men. In some cases, it can also be used to treat enlarged prostate, a condition called benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH.

Getting started

AgelessRx recommends a starting dose of Tadalafil (As Needed) at 10mg, taken a minimum of 1-2 hours before sexual activity, with a glass of water. Tadalafil can be taken with or without food.

Known as “the weekend pill,” Tadalafil generally requires 30-45 minutes to work into your system and can remain active for up to 36 hours.

Based on your individual efficacy and tolerability, AgelessRx may increase your dose to 20mg prior to your next shipment. This will be determined based on various factors, including your health and medical history, current medications, feedback provided during your New Patient Check-In (completed within 30-days of beginning your prescription), and at the discretion of the doctor approving your prescription.

FAQs

What’s the difference between Tadalafil and Cialis?

Tadalafil is the active ingredient used in Cialis and is the generic equivalent. As clinically evidenced, Tadalafil is just as safe and effective as branded Cialis; it works for the same amount of time and delivers the same lasting effects.

Do I have to take a loading dose if taking Tadalafil for the first time?

No loading dose is required—a single tab is effective. Simply take a single Tadalafil tablet 1-2 hours before sexual activity. A single dose can remain effective for up to 36 hours.

What if I miss a dose?

If you are taking this medicine as needed for erection problems, this does not apply. Simply a single tablet 1-2 hours prior to sexual activity.

Where should I store my medication?

Store your medication at room temperature (no higher than 86 F). You should throw away any unused medication after the expiration date on your prescription bottle.

As with all prescription medications, keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not share your medication with anyone else.

What are the advantages of Tadalafil over other ED meds?

Unlike other ED medications, Tadalafil is often referred to as “the weekend pill” because a single dose can remain active for up to 36 hours (whereas others, such as Viagra, remain active for only a few hours). Tadalafil provides the opportunity for spontaneity.

Recent studies also name Tadalafil (Cialis) as the preferred ED treatment by men.

Is Tadalafil FDA approved?

Yes, Tadalafil is FDA approved to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). At different doses, it is also FDA approved to treat symptoms of BPH and pulmonary arterial hypertension.
